How to get the Nutrition Allowance of Rs. 2000.00 for pregnant mothers ?

• A childhood Development Officer of the Divisional Secretariat of the Maternity clinic where you have participated, before three months of pregnancy, can obtain an application form from the implementing officer of the program.

• School Children can receive scholarships if their father has died of is incapacitated 

How to register  an NGO?

• NGO"s which have been in operation for over a year after its  inception will be registered.

Can the samurdhi Benefit be renewed?

• No new beneficiaries are currently selected and appeals will be accepted for future consideration.

What are the Eligibility requirements for adult Assistance ?

• Above 70yeas of age on application date
• If the family income is 3000.00 rupees or less per month

          A husband or wife can apply for this

How to get brith,Marriage Cetificate Copies?

• If the date or date of birth or marriage or death certificate is known, a hundred rupees,
• If the number and date of birth ,Marriage and death certificate  are not known, certificates can be obtained by  paying rs.200/- to the Divisional Secretariat.
• In the case of births  marriages or deaths in the Colombo district, the relevant certificates can be  obtained from the Colombo Divisional Secretariat

How to register births?

• Birth Registration should be registered with the birth Registrar of the respective division 3 months before the birth  is registered .
• Please register with the Additional District Registrar for birth registration after three months .

How to amend the birth Cetificate?

• Please contact the Additional District Registrar with the relevant documents .

How to make  widows' and Orphans" pention  after the death of  the Civil Pensioner ?

• First Stop the Pension by Getting the Death Certificate of the Pensioner
• If you have more money send letters  to the bank to get it
• Them inform the concerned  person to bring the following documents.
  • Original Death Certificate of pensioner
  • Original Berth certificate of the widow
  • Original Berth certificate
  • A photo copy of the widow’s bank book
  • A photo copy of the widow’s Birth certificate
  • A photo copy of the widow’s orphans card or the widow's orphans' Number
  • Passport size color photograph certfied by the grama niladhari
  • All the photoccopies of the above documents should be Certified by the Grama Niladhari
• once they have provided the relevant information, take the file and take necessary action to prepare the widow's orphans pension.

why pensioners have stopped their pensions?

• Stop the pension as life is not guaranteed for the relevant year.
• Issuing the life certificate after the pensioner arrives and requesting to the bring the certification by the Grama Niladhari.
• Updating the pension after handing over the life certificate again.

why don't the pensioners pay after the widow dies?

• under the widows and orphans “Pension act. If there is a salary of arrears payable to the deceased person after the death of the widower orphans
